Chateau 22 is a new, limited membership, local wine club based in East Dulwich, London SE22. There will of course be wine tastings - but not in the traditional, stuffy style. These will be really entertaining occasions with as much fun as information, good food, and an emphasis on enjoyment. Plenty of blind tastings, quizzes, aroma challenges and so on. However, there’ll also be other opportunities to enjoy gourmet dinners with wine to match, wine tours suggested by members and run by the club, wine with a range of combinations (cheese, chocolate, desserts, tapas...), plus diversions from musicians, our in-house magician, cabaret, comedy, recitations - the possibilities are endless. Meet, chat, drink, relax.
So after a very successful “Americas” tasting, with some great Latin music from Karen Lane, and a pretty sensual display of tango at the end, we move on to Old World vs New World. Well a little bit of each anyway. Angela will send out reminders, but put it in your diary, and don’t forget to book in advance using this booking form. Leaving it till 24 hours beforehand just doesn’t work!
